The CIPD Level 7 Advanced Certificate

The CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma

The Diploma requires around two year's study.  Successful completion provides you with the knowledge required to work toward Chartered membership of the CIPD.

This qualification is made up of core (mandatory) and optional* units (please check modules available with the given providers of CIPD Flexible Learning +). The full CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma in HRM would typically be made up of the four core (mandatory) units and the HRM optional units, though there are also HRD (Human Resource Development) units to select from.

Accreditation
On successful completion you will be awarded the CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma/Certificate in Human Resource Management. Successful completion of the CIPD Level 7 Advanced Certificate gives you Associate membership (Assoc CIPD) of the CIPD, which is the first level of CIPD professional membership. By completing the CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma in HR Management, you’ll gain the knowledge required to work towards CIPD Chartered membership.
How to gain

The size of qualification you achieve will depend on how many of the core and optional units you complete. To gain the CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma, you must complete the four core units and four optional units. Or, to achieve the CIPD Level 7 Advanced Certificate, you can choose any four units to complete. There are nationally assessed exams for two of the four core units. A third core unit comprises a management research report. A range of other assessment methods will be used throughout the other units.
