Paid for webinars: access by or viewing of a webinar by any person who has not registered and paid for the training is not permitted. Please do not share your invitation link or password with anyone else as this could jeopardise your place and will result in the webinar host rejecting uninvited attendees.

Length of Programme
The programme consists of four one-hour webinars, with one per week over four consecutive weeks.
Course Tutors

Mr Gary Cookson

Gary has 20 years experience of working in senior level HR/OD/L&D positions, and of providing training, coaching and consultancy services within that timeframe.

Career-wise, before launching his own business, Gary was Associate HR Director at the DBS, and HR Director at Trafford College. Prior to that he did HR/OD integration work at a new housing group, and before that was Head of HR & OD at Golden Gates Housing Trust for 11 years, and also have experience of working in a call centre, a national charity and an international pharmaceuticals company. Prior to working in HR Gary qualified as a secondary school teacher (and taught History). He has also managed and delivered CIPD programmes for many years and has delivered face to face and distance learning qualifications for a range of providers and awarding bodies. He’s a sought after conference speaker and a regular contributor to HR media articles.

Mr David Hayden

Since taking responsibility for three Youth Trainees back in 1988 as an Operations Manager, David has gone on to work in, and headed up, a number of corporate L&D teams and HR functions.  Organisations include Distribution, Retail, Financial and Public Sector.  He completed his Masters specialising in CPD and was Chair of the South Yorkshire CIPD Branch from 2012 for two years before joining the CIPD Training Team in 2014.
